  • Breaking News : Putin Signs Decree Granting Visa-Free Entry to Russia for Chinese Citizens

Moscow, December 1, 2025 – Russian President Vladimir Putin has officially signed a decree allowing Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports to enter the Russian Federation without a visa for short-term stays of up to 30 days.

The executive order, signed on November 30, 2025, and published on the official Russian government legal portal, takes effect immediately and will remain valid until September 14, 2026.
Under the new rules, Chinese nationals can travel to Russia visa-free for the following purposes:

    Tourism

    Business visits

    Private visits

Participation in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, or sporting events

The decree serves as a reciprocal measure following China’s decision in September 2025 to grant Russian citizens a similar 30-day visa-free entry regime starting September 15, 2025.
Certain categories, including journalists, students on long-term programs, and individuals entering for paid employment or official diplomatic purposes, remain subject to standard visa requirements.

The move is expected to significantly boost bilateral tourism and economic cooperation between the two nations. In the first seven months of 2025 alone, approximately 262,000 Chinese tourists visited Russia, and officials anticipate a substantial increase following the removal of visa barriers.

This development further strengthens the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing amid expanding cooperation within the BRICS framework and in response to Western sanctions.

Sources: Official decree published on the Russian Presidential website and government legal information portal (pravo(dot)gov(dot)ru), Reuters, Bloomberg, The Moscow Times, RT, CCTV News, and Beijing Daily.

  • **Making Russia Pay for Every Inch**

Ukrainian commanders say their strategy is simple: contest every kilometer of ground and make any Russian advance unbearably costly. From precision strikes on supply lines to nimble counterattacks and relentless drone harassment, Kyiv’s forces are turning terrain into a trap — forcing Moscow to spend men, ammunition, and morale just to inch forward.

The campaign isn’t only military; it’s also economic and psychological. By targeting logistics, command nodes, and rear-area infrastructure, Ukraine aims to grind down Russia’s ability to sustain front-line gains. The message is clear: any ground Moscow takes will be paid for in blood, materiel, and political fallout — and Kyiv intends to make that price higher at every turn.
